Do you have a small business and want to grow faster? Then it's time to use AI! Today, I'm going to show you easy ways that AI can help your business grow. Don't worry if you aren't tech-savvy—I'll keep it simple.
The first thing you want to do is set up a Google Business Profile. This is like a page that helps people find your business on Google Maps or in search results. When people are driving through your town or looking online for something you sell, they'll find you!
AI tools like ChatGPT or Google's AI can help you fill out your profile. They can write descriptions for you and find the right keywords. This makes it easier for people to find you online.
If you don’t have a website yet, AI can help you make one. You can use AI tools to write the text on your site, making it sound professional. It’s okay if you can’t afford a fancy designer—AI can help you get started without needing a lot of money.
Having a website helps customers learn more about you and your products. It's like a digital store that’s always open! After running a Google Business Profile for 3 to 6 months, it’s a great idea to get a website up and running to build your online presence.
AI can also help you come up with cool offers to attract customers. For example, do you sell crystals? Maybe you could add scented holders for the crystals, like my friend did. This way, when customers need refills for the scent, they come back to you. AI can brainstorm these kinds of ideas with you, making it easy to think of new ways to get people excited about what you sell.
There are some pre-made AI helpers called GPTs that can give you step-by-step plans for your business. They can tell you exactly what to do for the next two weeks to improve your business. This means you don’t have to figure everything out by yourself.
You can even use GPTs to help with things like making social media posts, planning events, or running ads. You’d normally have to pay someone a lot of money to help with this, but AI can do it for free or for just $20 a month.
AI is like having a helper who never gets tired. It can write, plan, and even suggest ideas for you, so you don’t have to spend so much time figuring things out. Instead, you can spend more time running your business and helping your customers.
If you haven’t tried AI yet, now is a great time. Start small—maybe just use it to write a post for social media or make a description for your products. As you get more comfortable, you’ll see all the ways AI can make your business grow.
